@Backstage With Millionaires In India every engineering college has ecosystem for startup incubation. There is so much craze to be next Jeff Bezos, Flipkart founder Sachin Bansal, Musk, etc.!! These are inspiration leaders.

At some point in time Tesla 93, we might make a video about these companies. At the moment though, we’ve got a lot of other videos and scripts in the pipeline and probably won’t get a chance to touch on agriculture or agritech for a while sadly. -Caleb

Wow, it is amazing to know that our videos are being watched in Africa as well. Thank you for taking the time to write this comment John?
We hope that we can provide you and hopefully more people from overseas an overview of India’s startup ecosystem. There is a lot of stuff going on in India at the moment, it is really exciting.
Also, I am curious, how is Kenya’s startup ecosystem and overall business scenario?

This is a great idea Varun. We are actually hoping to have some of the founders of these companies on the show as guests in the future, to talk about how they built these startups. However, considering the fact that COVID-19 has India under lockdown, it may be some time before we can arrange such interviews, so we will have a chat about this as a team and decide whether making case study videos is something that we want to do.

Hi jnaras, thanks a lot! OrangeScape and KiSSFLOW both came up while we were researching for this script, but sadly didn’t make it onto the list – if I’m remembering correctly, it was because the other SaaS startups on the list were more heavily funded than OrangeScape, and funding was the metric that we used to compile this list. Would need to fact check this though.

It was pretty difficult to select just ten startups, as SaaS is a really large space here in India and there are a lot of awesome startups. In hindsight, we also missed Postman, which is now a unicorn. Hopefully we can make a new version of this list at some point in 2021 which is current and up-to-date. Maybe we’ll make it a Top 25 list instead of Top 10, because 10 feels like too small a number for SaaS startups in India. Either way, thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed the video. -Caleb
